For more than 45 years, Dr. Madison has thrived as a chiropractic orthopedist at David G. Madison, DC, Chiropractic Corporation. He specializes in the treatment of work injuries and was a Qualified Medical Evaluator of Industrial Disability for California from 1993 to 2008. Dr. Madison provides treatment for various conditions that affect the joints, muscles, tendons, ligaments, nerves, and cartilage of the spine and extremities. Dr. Madison also regularly performs a broad range of procedures such as spinal and extremity manipulation, trigger point therapy, and acupressure and creates home therapy regimens based on each patient's unique medical issues.
Alongside his responsibilities as a chiropractic orthopedist, Dr. Madison excelled as the secretary for the American College of Chiropractic Orthopedists between 1981 and 1982. He had previously been appointed as the vice president of the Riverside District of the California Chiropractic Association from 1977 until 1979. From 2006 until 2008, Dr. Madison found further success as a member of the board of governors of the American Chiropractic Association (ACA) after serving as the ACA's delegate for Southern California from 2002 until 2006. He served on the Board of Regents for the Southern California University of Health Sciences from 2003 to 2008. Dr. Madison was elected as a Fellow of the Academy of Chiropractic Orthopedists and Fellow of the International College of Chiropractors.
During the early 2000s, Dr. Madison was honored with many accolades on behalf of the ACA such as the Chairman's Award and the President's Award. In recognition of his contributions as a Southern California delegate and alternate delegate, he was named Delegate of the Year in 2006 and selected for the Dr. John E. Flynn and Dr. Robert P. Lynch Memorial Award in 2003. Dr. Madison is currently an instructor in the Community Based Education program for students from the medical school at the University of California, Riverside. Attributing his success to his respectful and compassionate relationships with his patients, he is considering accepting a position as an instructor at the Southern California University of Health Sciences.
