Throughout the course of her professional journey, Mrs. Wolfe has also co-owned restaurants with her husband. She moved her focus to editing in the early 2000s where she served as community editor of The Laurel of Asheville, several published authors and area publications. She launched WolfeMedia, LLC in 2012 to focus on helping small businesses with marketing, branding, and communications. A passion for animals and children, she also volunteered as marketing and public relations director at Hope for Horses North Carolina, Alive Cubed, and served on the board of several nonprofits. In recent years, Mrs. Wolfe has also worked as a public relations and communications director for the McDowell Chamber of Commerce.
With her current business, Mrs. Wolfe serves as a support system for local businesses in order to provide the resources that push them toward success. As an accomplished professional, Mrs. Wolfe was recognized as the Woman of the Year by the National Association of Professional Women in 2015. She maintains her affiliation with the Women in Business Association and the McDowell Trails Association.
