Mrs. Fulks began her career as a bookkeeper for a property management company, where she was asked to help show properties to clients. Having sparked a personal interest in real estate, her talent was noticed, and she was encouraged to delve further into the field. She received a bachelor's degree in business, as well as a Master of Art in social justice, both from Marygrove College. She also studied at the Michigan Institute of Real Estate, where she earned expert certification in real estate and negotiation, and a designation as a seller representative specialist. Presently, Mrs. Fulks works as a Realtor in the Metro Detroit area, including Lake Orion, Pontiac, Southfield and Waterford. She was named a Trademark Woman of Distinction Honoree for Real Estate in 2021 in Michigan.
As a respected voice in her field, Mrs. Fulks has authored several industry related articles. Previously, she wrote "A Sellers Guide to Selling Your Home Fast" and "A Buyers Guide to Buying a Home." She was also featured in an interview for K.I.S.H Magazine, and authored "Why...A Young Girl's Search for the Truth." For her efforts in her career, Mrs. Fulks was the winner of a Hidden Gem of Detroit award.
Mrs. Fulks maintains her affiliation with the Greater Metropolitan Association of Realtors, the Women's Council of Realtor's Birmingham and Bloomfield, the National Association of Realtors and the National Association of Professional Women. She has been civically active with the Lost and Found Christian Association and is a founder of the Treasure Within, a girls' empowerment group. Looking toward the future, Mrs. Fulks plans to continue working on development projects, including housing programs for the local community.
