In order to remain aware of changes in the field, Dr. Jawaid is affiliated with the American College of Cardiology, the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions, the American College of Physicians and the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography. For his professional achievements, he was recognized as the Fellow of the Year through Broward Health Cardiology in 2019. Inducted into the National Society of Collegiate Scholars in 2005, serves on several committees nationally as well as at the local level in order to continue to impact his community in a meaningful manner.
Although his career has been filled with highlights, Dr. Jawaid is incredibly proud of the culmination of his journey as an interventional cardiologist. His work involves life-saving procedures for critical cases, especially heart attacks. He provides cardiovascular care as a non-invasive cardiologist in addition to performing interventional cardiology care that non-invasive approaches are unable to address.
