Soon thereafter, Dr. Parks excelled in private practice in Marina Del Ray, California between 1976 and 2017.
Drawing upon his vast breadth of knowledge, Dr. Parks currently excels as an obstetrician-gynecologist with Playa Vista Women's Health. Additionally, he has authored a number of works, including "Macrosomia: A Proposed Indication for Primary Cesarean Delivery," which was published by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecologists, a chapter on genital herpes in the textbook, "Current Clinical Practice: Sexually Transmitted Diseases," and a plethora of aticles regarding vulvar lichen sclerosis, HPV infections, gonorrhea, vaginal yeast infections, endometriosis, choriocarcinoma, and water intoxication. In order to remain aware of ongoing changes in the field, Dr. Parks is affiliated with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
For his outstanding work, Dr. Parks was honored with an eponymous community service award through Westside Family Health Center. He was also presented with an Excellence in Teaching Award through UCLA Westwood and UCLA Harbor General. Moreover, Dr. Parks was recognized with commendations from the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, the California State Senate and the California State Assembly.
Although his career has been filled with highlights, Dr. Parks is incredibly proud of his research in The Green Journal.
