Mr. Hill was named as the Brookfield District Teacher of the Year in 2010 and won the Distinguished Adjunct Professor of Education Award by the University of Bridgeport in 2015.

Mr. Hill earned two Bachelor of Science degrees in psychology and mathematics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2004 and went on to attain a Master of Science in secondary education and teaching from the University of Bridgeport in 2007. In 2013, he earned certification in educational leadership and administration from the same institution. Mr. Hill is further certified in secondary mathematics teaching, secondary physics teaching, secondary chemistry teaching and intermediate supervision.
Mr. Hill began his career as a high school teacher for the Brookfield Board of Education in 2006 and continued his professional journey as the mathematics department chair in 2014. He subsequently worked as the mathematics coordinator for secondary education for the Westport Board of Education from 2015 to 2018. Starting in 2014, he has worked as an adjunct professor of education for the University of Bridgeport. Since 2018 he has been the STEM Curricular specialist for Brookfield Public Schools where he oversees secondary mathematics, science, and career and technical education. In addition to his main career path, Mr. Hill has also served as the SAT preparation director and a mathematics and science tutor for the Brookfield Learning Center.
In his present role as a STEM curriculum specialist, Mr. Hill supervises 25 high school teachers at Brookfield High School, evaluating their performance and working with them on their curriculum. He prides himself on not only being a source of educational content but also a resource on how to effectively teach students. As an adjunct professor of education, Mr. Hill teaches courses in the University of Bridgeport's mathematics certification program.
As part of his dedication to his field, Mr. Hill is a member of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics, the National Science Teaching Association, the Connecticut Council of Leaders of Mathematics and the Connecticut Science Supervisors Association. He also serves as an officer of the Brookfield Administration Union. In recognition of his dedication, he was bestowed with the Outstanding Scholarship in Mathematics Education Award by the University of Bridgeport in 2007. Mr. Hill was further named as the Brookfield District Teacher of the Year in 2010 and won the Distinguished Adjunct Professor of Education Award by the University of Bridgeport in 2015.
