SAN DIEGO, CA, January 11, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Captain Allan Jan Glick with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Captain Glick celebrates many years' experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Captain Glick has led a long and successful career at sea, beginning in 1982 as an instructor for the International School of Sailing and Sailboat South Charters in both Florida and the Virgin Islands. In 1984, he became captain of the sailing yacht "Yesterday's Dream", doing full service charters in the Caribbean. He subsequently purchased his own sailing vessel, the "Amelia Rose" which provided sailing and guided snorkeling tours in the Virgin Islands from 1990 to 1994. Developing a passion for sailing when he was just five years old, Captain Glick began sailing at age 12 and began racing his sailboat at age 14.
