After earning a Bachelor of Arts from Glassboro State College in 1966, Ms. Laubsch began her professional career as a claims examiner for the New Jersey Department of Labor in Trenton. Between 1969 and 1975, she worked for the aforementioned department, while also obtaining a Master of Arts from her undergraduate alma mater. Subsequently, Ms. Laubsch excelled as a manager for the New Jersey Department of Labor for over 15 years while furthering her expertise by graduating with a Master of Public Administration from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey.
Backed by her newfound expertise, Ms. Laubsch accepted a promotion at the New Jersey Department of Labor, serving as a district supervisor from 1988 to 1992, at which point she became regional manager. She excelled as an assistant commissioner with the New Jersey Department of Labor and a professor at Fairleigh Dickinson University. Over the years, she has also pursued postgraduate coursework at Nova Southeastern University. In order to remain aware of changes in the field, Ms. Laubsch is affiliated with the American Association of University Women, the American Academy of Certified Public Managers, and the American Society for Public Administration.
Outside of her primary responsibilities, Ms. Laubsch has contributed to the Cumberland County Advisory Commission for Women and the Boy Scouts. For her professional excellence, she has been recognized with accolades from the New Jersey Certified Public Managers Society and the American Academy of Certified Public Managers. She was also presented with a Faculty Award for Service in 2014. In the near future, Ms. Laubsch aims to continue finding success on her professional path.
