After more than 30 years in education, Mr. Glaser accepted a new role as the docent at the Holocaust Memorial Museum and The Alamo in San Antonio in 2021, which has afforded him with the opportunity to continue making a difference in a field. Beginning his career in 1985, he initially taught social studies and language arts and served as dean of students at the Oakridge School in Arlington, Texas. Mr. Glaser subsequently worked with adult students as the director of education at Mansfield Business School in Dallas between 1986 and 1987.
Relocating to Florida, Mr. Glaser found success as a teacher of language arts and history for the Miami-Dade County Public Schools from 1987 and 2008. Between 1988 and 2000, he also began his tenure in academia as an adjunct professor of English and history in the School of Adult And Continuing Education at Barry University. Among other noteworthy positions, Mr. Glaser was appointed as a teacher and the chairman of the high school social studies department at the Brooks Collegiate Academy in San Antonio between 2017 and 2018.
Mr. Glaser was previously recruited as a guest curator of the firearms collection at North Texas State University from 1983 to 1985 and an assistant curator of exhibits at DeGolyer Library of Special Collections at Southern Methodist University from 1984 to 1985. An expert in history, economics, and government education, he often participated at numerous summer seminars. Mr. Glaser further operated as a judge for the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum's annual essay contest, a curriculum unit reviewer for Corwin Press and an economic curriculum reviewer for Prentice-Hall.
Additionally, Mr. Glaser has been affiliated with numerous committees and boards relative to his work, including the Florida Department of Education Commissioner's Task Force on Holocaust Education from 1998 to 2017, Broward County, Florida's selective service board from 2004 to 2017 and the Holocaust Memorial of Miami Beach's education committee from 2007 to 2017. He has contributed to other organizations, including as a member of the Florida Council for the Social Studies, the Southern Historical Association, the Organization of American Historians, the Advocates for Self-Government, the Association of Holocaust Organizations and the American Historical Association, among others. A lifetime member of the National Defense Industrial Association and the Dallas Arms Collectors' Association, Mr. Glaser was active as a charter member of the International Military Arms Society, is a member of the Texas Gun Collectors Association and a benefactor member of the National Rifle Association.

Penning some Holocaust curriculum for the Miami-Dade Public Schools, he authored "A Guide to the Collection of John Insley Blair" in 1985 and co-authored the award-winning "Alamo Images: Changing Perceptions of a Texas Experience" in 1985, which notably obtained an Honorable Mention Award from the American Library Association and an Award of Merit from the American Association of State and Local Historical Societies. Furthermore, Mr. Glaser provided his wealth of knowledge to the fourth edition of "Economics: Principles and Practices" by Glencoe-McGraw-Hill and served as a historical consultant for "The Little Theater That Could and the Story of Key Biscayne" by Carol-Ann Rudy.
Among his most notable civic engagements, Mr. Glaser completed service as a personnel officer for the First Regiment in the Texas State Guard, from which he retired as a lieutenant colonel. He was notably presented with an Adjutant General's Individual Award and the Faithful Service Medal from the Texas State Guard. Mr. Glaser was also decorated with a Cold War Service Medal and the Texas Medal of Merit.
Mr. Glaser earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and government at Texas Christian University in 1974, followed by a master's degree in international management at the American Graduate School of International Management in 1975. He later pursued postgraduate coursework in educational leadership at Barry University between 1990 and 1993 before obtaining a Master of Arts in U.S. history at Florida International University in 2008. Mr. Glaser likewise accrued a lifetime teaching certification in the state of Texas.
