Mrs. Rodriguez initially earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology (1994) and a Bachelor of Arts in Teacher Education (2008) from Stockton University. She has subsequently excelled as a science teacher for the Atlantic City Board of Education, a position she holds to this day. Having always harbored a passion for science as well as learning, becoming an educator herself was a natural extension of Mrs. Rodriguez's passions.
As part of her dedication to her field, Mrs. Rodriguez is a member of the National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa, and the National Science Teaching Association as well as the New Jersey Education Association. In recognition of her teaching expertise, she was selected as an honorary member of the National Nominating Committee for the Junior National Young Leaders Conference for 2021 to 2022. In addition to her primary responsibilities, Mrs. Rodriguez also serves as a Coordinator of Science Fair and the chairperson of the Public Relations Committee at her school, Uptown School Complex, Atlantic City, New Jersey.
Crediting the support of her family as a driving force in her career, Mrs. Rodriguez prides herself on remaining positive and surrounding herself with optimistic people. She has also notably tackled the COVID-19 pandemic, which has provided several challenges to both students and teachers in the pursuit of virtual learning. In the coming years, Mrs. Rodriguez hopes to enroll in graduate school to study leadership and supervisor skills.
