As a lifelong learner in the pursuit of knowledge, Irene is a Renaissance woman. Accomplished in both the arts and sciences, Irene is a registered dental assistant, licensed vocational nurse, licensed in property and casualty insurance, a high school CTE teacher and adult instructor, network producer and more. But it doesn't stop there. With a plethora of professions, Irene believes that "once you reach a level where you feel it's time for growth, there's no reason for one to just stop. Why not do everything we always thought we can do?"
With Ms. Eclavea's experiences in and overcoming challenging obstacles of life, Irene knew that there was more to the four walls that surrounded her. Singing in the ministry for about 15 years taught her to apply scriptures into reality; learning to "let go and let God" all in the faith and strength provided by God. For Irene, the entertainment industry was career driven first. Gathering all her knowledge and skills from her professions, she applied it to the influence of her networking business. Invited to attend the BET awards, Irene experienced her first few seconds of fame on TV. What "felt like heaven on earth", as she describes, she was surrounded by amazing talents such as Blueface and Rihanna. Feeling like she could "breathe for the first time" ignited her journey of what we know as Elevate DragonFly today.
Being born in the Year of the Dragon is a part of Irene's inspiration for the brand name. The design of the dragonfly intertwined with a flower but allowing the dragon to fly and elevate is related to their mission: to elevate all of God's people at the same time. Irene explains "with one, we fall and as a colony we rise. And with elevate, it's just that. It's about leading by faith." Her goal as a network producer is to build strong, ever-lasting connections and mutually beneficial, strategic partnerships for people to network together. One of her many projects focuses on holding conferences on women empowerment, and she resolved to dedicate her future career efforts to public speaking and consultation.
Outside of business oversight, Ms. Eclavea has been licensed as a vocational nurse since 2008, specializing in the areas of medical surgery, cardiac, telemetry and rehabilitation, mother baby, and out-patient pediatrics. In 2015, she began freelancing and joined Allied Health Professionals in 2017, 24-hr Medical Staffing and in 2018, Nursefinders, and continues to dedicate her time as a first responder, in conjunction with her mission.
Ms. Eclavea began her career in the medical field as an orthodontic dental assistant in 2000 on behalf of Dr. Robin Abari D.D.S. Orthodontic Specialty. She subsequently worked as a vocational nurse at Glendale Adventist Medical Hospital in 2007, CASA Colina Rehabilitation in 2008, Kaiser Permanente in 2009, and the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in 2018. Ms. Eclavea also spent several years in the classroom teaching at El Monte-Rosemead Unified School District Adult School and El Modena High School as part of Orange County Unified School District beginning in 2016.
A considerable advocate of contributing to her local community, Ms. Eclavea has been active with numerous nonprofit and religious organizations, including Lifeway Church Ministries, the I Dream for All Foundation, and Officer Bird Save the Children Foundation. She is currently involved with One Family Transportation Services in Los Angeles and Triumphant Ministries International, in Victorville. In 2021, Ms. Eclavea was honored with a Women in Business Award recognizing her achievements.
