Mr. Gonzalez is the chief administrative officer (CAO) of Gonzalez Vineyard Management LLC, a family-owned and operated vineyard management company in Napa Valley, California. Founded by his father, Arturo Gonzalez, who has served in the industry since the 1980s, the management company has grown exponentially, employing approximately 150 individuals. Among its many services, Gonzalez Vineyard Management LLC offers consulting, farm labor contractor services, irrigation and irrigation installations, vineyard layouts and trellises, planting, pruning and more.
In his capacity as CAO, Mr. Gonzalez oversees operations and works to execute the overall vision and mission of the business. Bearing extensive experience in logistics, quality assurance, risk management and in ensuring sustainability and growth, he credits much of his success on the faith and diligence imbued within him by his parents, who taught him how to build solid relationships. In this respect, Mr. Gonzalez and his team have been able to provide employment to many local agricultural experts and others in the industry.
Leading a variety of community-wide initiatives, Mr. Gonzalez recently partnered with a Bay Area non-profit (Mission Meals Coalition) to expand access to food resources amongst farm workers of the valley. The partnership led to the monthly distribution of food boxes, dental kits, pet food and other household goods much needed in the community.
Mr. Gonzalez completed coursework at his local community college, the University of California Santa Barbara and Stanford University. He is the current president of the Napa County Hispanic Network and an active member of his community. Looking ahead, Mr. Gonzalez plans to expand the scope of work of the Gonzalez Vineyard Management Company and pursue other business ventures.
