Dr. Hi-Soo Kim has led a successful career as an ophthalmologist for more than five decades.

In 2008, he earned an honorary doctorate degree in education from the Josai International School in Japan. He was later distinguished with two other honorary doctorate degrees from Lynchburg University in America and Danube University in Austria.
Dr. Kim presently serves as the honorary president of Konyang University and Additionally, he is the founder of Konyang Education Foundation and Konyang University Hospital. Aside from having led an accomplished career, he has enjoyed raising four children and three grandchildren alongside his loving wife.
