In 2016 and 2018, she guided Riverwood International's culinary arts team to multiple national and statewide competitions that were organized through Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA). Thanks to Mrs. Oliver's leadership, the Riverwood International Culinary Arts program was also selected as the winner of the 2019 Fulton County Chef Competition for Nutrition.
In 2020, Mrs. Oliver was honored with the Georgia ProStart Educator of Excellence Award on behalf of the Hospitality Education Foundation of Georgia, ProStart, and the National Restaurant Association Education Foundation. She also received ProStart's Educator of Excellence Award in the Best Practice and Knowledge Sharing category National Award.
Due to her many professional accolades and esteemed reputation throughout the culinary community, Mrs. Oliver has been featured in a number of news outlets, such as the Sandy Springs Patch, Atlanta Journal Constitution, Reporter Newspapers, the Marietta Daily Journal, and the Georgia Sun.
