Mr. Biggane worked with renowned golf instructor Bob Toski to write his biography, entitled "The Elegant Mouse: The Bob Toski Story," which was published in 2017.

Mr. Biggane spent five years delivering morning newspapers growing up in Albany, NY, and spent time each day before school reading the sports section, which created an interest in sports journalism. He worked on the school paper, The Bona Venture, his final five semesters at St. Bonaventure University, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in English in 1972.
A month after graduation he was hired by the Tonawanda News. After one year there he moved on to the Niagara Falls (N.Y.) Gazette (1973-77), Fort Myers (FL) News-Press (1977-78) South Florida Sun-Sentinel (1978-80) and Palm Beach Post (1980-2015).
Mr. Biggane served primarily as a beat writer for professional teams for the bulk of his career and covered six Super Bowls, 10 Stanley Cup finals and five NBA Finals. He also covered the 1994 soccer World Cup and 1996 Olympics.
Mr. Biggane has received many awards but is most proud of being a member of the Palm Beach Post sports staff that was honored by the Associated Press Sports Editors (APSE) as Top 10 in its circulation category for daily, Sunday and special sections for nine consecutive years. This string of so-called Triple Crowns is a feat never duplicated by any paper in the country.
After retiring in 2015, Mr. Biggane worked with renowned golf instructor Bob Toski to write his biography, entitled "The Elegant Mouse: The Bob Toski Story," which was published in 2017. Since 2016 he has also worked as a freelance writer for The Coastal Star, a monthly paper serving the coastal communities of South Palm Beach County.
