Bearing a passion for engineering and development since his youth, Mr. Sarfraz has served as a freelance Android/IOS application developer since 2015 and as a software engineer for Stanley Black & Decker Inc. since 2019. He also formed his own business, Driven Software Solutions, in 2019 as its founder and chief executive officer. During his time in the field, Mr. Sarfraz has garnered expertise with several leading companies, including as a software engineer co-op for JDA Software (now Blue Yonder Group, Inc.) in 2018 and 2019, as a sales technician for iFixandRepair in 2017 and 2018, and as a software engineering and web developer for GovtPortal, LLC/Flat Rate Processing in 2017. Through analytical processes, bottom-line-driven processes and IT solutions, he elevated the performance and profitability of these organizations resulting in exceeding corporate goals and business requirements.
Grateful for his success, Mr. Sarfraz attributes much of his good fortune to his networking abilities. When he opened his own business, he began talking to clients and building a strong base of patronage. He also notes his previous experience working in different areas of the field and with individuals of varied backgrounds and expertise. Mr. Sarfraz is currently pursuing a Master's in Analytics at Georgia Institute of Technology as well as a Master's in Business Administration from Kennesaw State University (KSU), from where he also received his Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering, graduating Highest Honors Summa Cum Laude, in 2019. Alongside his bachelor's degree, he received a minor in math and mechanical engineering. In 2016, he was an Associate of Science in Computer Science honors graduate at Georgia State University. During his years at Kennesaw, Mr. Sarfraz was notably recognized for leading the Third Best Undergrad Project (BrainChanger, C-Day) and in 2017, he was a software engineering intern for Chick-fil-A Inc.
Mr. Sarfraz is a professional member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars; he was named to the President's List and Dean's List throughout his semesters at Kennesaw State University in 2017, 2018 and 2019 and was an Honor Society member. Aspiring to continue growing and developing his business in the next five to 10 years, his goal is to eventually expand his business to have a global presence.
