PALO ALTO, CA, January 25, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Michelle Robell has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Driven by a passion for teaching, Ms. Robell earned a bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in criminal justice from Kent State University, graduating Summa Cum Laude with many academic awards (including the Alpha Lambda Delta Senior Award). She subsequently obtained a master's degree in industrial and organizational psychology from the University of New Haven. She then drove herself across the country from New York City to Palo Alto without knowing anyone to start her career path. After working in the corporate world for many years, Ms. Robell decided to pursue her love of education in order to better support her community. To change careers, she then earned her teaching credential from the University of the Pacific - Benerd School of Education.
For nearly 25 years (the last 22 with PAUSD), Ms. Robell has excelled in the field of education, gaining valuable expertise with two districts, including the Mountain View Whisman School District. Drawing upon her considerable expertise, she currently excels as a first grade teacher with the Palo Alto Unified School District. Her first two years in education were spent as a GATE (Gifted and Talented Education) specialist while teaching with the Whisman School District. Outside of her primary responsibilities, Ms. Robell is active as a member of the Science Adoption Curriculum Committee with the aforementioned school district.
Moreover, Ms. Robell has contributed as an emergency room volunteer and a member of several mathematics adoption committees. Although her career has been filled with highlights, she is incredibly proud of being included in Outstanding College Students of America, her courageous cross-country migration, switching career paths, and establishing a good relationship with her students in addition to the people in the community.
