Before the COVID-19 outbreak, he traveled almost every month globally to discuss global and local agendas with the corporate executives in RHQs and subsidiaries as well as the HQs in Japan. He also connected EY's global network to provide solutions in accounting, taxation, M&A, and restructuring consulting services to support the growth of the Japanese corporates overseas.
Throughout his career, after working in a consulting firm in Japan, Mr. Kikui moved to Australia to start up his own consulting business between Japan and Australia. From 1997 to 2007, he served as an auditor for Ernst & Young in Australia. Since 2019, Mr. Kikui has found additional success as a global leader for the Japan business services group of Ernst & Young.
Mr. Kikui obtained a Bachelor of Commerce at Meiji University and a Master of Business Administration from the Australian Graduate School of Management at the University of New South Wales. Aside from his primary vocational pursuits, he was appointed as the secretary for the Japanese Chamber of Commerce in Sydney, Australia. In the future, Mr. Kikui intends to contribute his skills and knowledge to a wider range of the Japanese business community while mentoring young professionals.
