Dr. Zuchelkowski has co-authored a variety of articles in several prominent journals, including the Journal of Surgical Education, among others.
PITTSBURGH, PA, January 31, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Benjamin E. Zuchelkowski, MD, MS has been included in Marquis Who's Who. While serving as a teaching assistant for introductory neuroscience at Allegheny College, Dr. Zuchelkowski earned a Bachelor of Science in neuroscience, with a minor in piano performance, from the institution. Following this accomplishment, he served as a teaching laboratory assistant for MDI Biological Laboratories in Bar Harbor, Maine. Driven to further his expertise, he earned a Master of Science in clinical research and a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh's School of Medicine. Currently, Dr. Zuchelkowski is a medical resident in internal medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
In order to remain aware of changes in the field, Dr. Zuchelkowski aligns himself with the Phi Beta Kappa Society, the American Thoracic Society, the American Medical Association, the Society for General Internal Medicine, the Pennsylvania Medical Society and the Allegheny County Medical Society. In medical school, he volunteered with the Panther Clinic. He also contributed as an admissions committee member, participant in the Longitudinal Alliance Patient Program and coordinator of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Interest Group at the University of Pittsburgh's School of Medicine, and as a volunteer and patient escort for Allegheny Reproductive Health Center.
Due to his research work, Dr. Zuchelkowski has co-authored a variety of articles in several prominent journals, including the Journal of Surgical Education, the International Journal of Medical Students and the International Journal of Gynecologic Cancer. For his professional excellence, he has been honored on numerous occasions, earning first place for student presentations at the American Thoracic Society, becoming a research scholar through the Clinical Scientist Training Program at the University of Pittsburgh's School of Medicine, receiving a trustee scholarship to Allegheny College and being named as a Distinguished Alden Scholar. Looking toward the future, Dr. Zuchelkowski intends to experience the continued growth and success of his career.
