An expert in her field, Ms. Toothaker holds a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from the University of Colorado Boulder earned in 1993 and a Master of Arts in counseling psychology and counselor education from the University of Colorado Denver earned in 1994. Outside of her primary work, Ms. Toothaker volunteers with Reaching Everyone Preventing Suicide and It Takes Courage, serves as an agency representative for the Adult Protection Team, and is a former board member, choreographer, dancer and current artistic director for the Steamboat Dance Theatre. For her professional expertise, she was honored to be part of the team that was named the Top Colorado Health Care Company through Colorado Biz Magazine in 2015. Looking ahead, Ms. Toothaker aims to write a professional book, as well as a story about her adoption journey.
