For her professional achievements, Mrs. Pagdilao was recognized as the Employee of the Year and received the Principal's Award for Site Leadership.
SAN JACINTO, CA, February 01, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Leebrina Pagdilao has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
The daughter of a teenage mother, Mrs. Pagdilao was raised by her grandparents along with her aunt and has seven brothers and one sister. One brother, in particular, struggled his senior year, but under her tutelage he was able to pass the examination necessary to receive his high school diploma. Through that experience, Mrs. Pagdilao learned something that school cannot teach: a teacher must know their students and their culture to manage behavior, present lessons, and teach for authentic learning.
After earning an Associate of Arts in general education from Pasadena City College, Mrs. Pagdilao graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in sociology from California State University, Los Angeles. She subsequently began her career as a teacher's assistant. Over the years, Mrs. Pagdilao gained valuable expertise in the field as a teacher, and obtained a Master of Arts in special education from the University of Phoenix and a Master of Arts in cross-cultural teaching and education from National University.
Soon thereafter, Mrs. Pagdilao worked as a special education teacher and assistant principal. In her myriad of roles, she refined her knowledge in IEP programs, administration, lesson plan development, and program management. Mrs. Pagdilao also found success as a special education coordinator and teacher for Life Source International Charter School, through which she coordinated and scheduled special education services, collaborated with staff members, parents and consultants regarding IEPs, and developed lesson plans and instructional materials.
Backed by her considerable expertise and supportive husband and Pops, Mrs. Pagdilao currently excels as a special education consultant and teacher for SPED Services LLC. In these positions, she provides special education services, consults with, or audits schools on their special education programs. In order to remain aware of changes in the field, Mrs. Pagdilao is affiliated with the Council for Exceptional Children and the California Teachers Association.
For her professional achievements, Mrs. Pagdilao was recognized as the Employee of the Year and received the Principal's Award for Site Leadership. Although her career has been filled with highlights, she is incredibly proud of having a student that received the "Yes I Can Award" from the Council for Exceptional Children. Looking ahead, Mrs. Pagdilao intends to expand her business, post on her YouTube Channels – SPED Services LLC (special education strategies) and Classy Scape (luxury travel information), sell products on her online mall – Mall Frenzee, and eventually create a foundation to fund educational scholarships for students with disabilities.
