Likewise, he has provided his expertise to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change in Nairobi, Kenya, between 1990 and 1998 and the World Meteorological Organization in Geneva, Switzerland, since 1985. Notably, he served as an advisor to the German Parliament in 1990. As a testament to his success, Dr. Brühl has earned recognition from the scientific assessment panel of the United Nations Environment Programme in 2012. He previously served in the German military in the mid-1970s.
