Dr. Hernandez-Morales initially garnered experience through her coursework for casual inference at the University of Michigan Summer Institute. Likewise, she conducted an internship for the Jackson Heart Study at Jackson State University. Additionally, from 2014 to 2016, she worked as an assistant teacher of the foreign language department and graduate research assistant in the public health department of Jackson State University.
To commemorate her accomplishments in the field, Dr. Hernandez-Morales has been the recipient of numerous accolades, including scholarships and best student awards. Dr. Hernandez-Morales obtained a Bachelor of Science in medical laboratory science from the Universidad Colegio Mayor de Cundinamarca. She earned a master's degree in marketing from the University of San Pablo Madrid and a Master of Public Health in epidemiology and biostatistics from Jackson State University. She has publications on Pubmed. She was working for pharmaceutical companies and clinical laboratories and she taught for some Universities in Colombia. Aside from her primary vocational pursuits, she volunteers at a pathology lab at University of Mississippi Medical Center and has served as an auxiliary translator at Jackson State University.
