Additionally, he serves as an assistant professor of pediatric emergency medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine. In his current roles, he assists with all clinical operations of the emergency room department, participates in committees and research projects, cares for sick children, and operates an online curriculum for nurses. Moreover, Dr. Uy is a member of the Society for International Medical Graduates and a fellow of the American Board of Pediatrics.
Notably, Dr. Uy has been the recipient of a Teaching Award from the St. Barnabas Hospital Health System.
