Attributing her success to her perseverance and never letting anything get in the way of her goals, Dr. Cabrera was notably raised in a low-income area and suffered from a learning disability. Although her childhood was difficult, her experiences shaped who she is and she is grateful for helping those in need in such an influential way. Dr. Cabrera is a proud Latina and believes in giving back to the community and inspiring new generations, specifically women, to follow a career in medicine. Dr. Cabrera is board certified with the American Academy of Family Physicians and affiliated with the California Academy of Family Physicians.
Dr. Cabrera earned a bachelor's degree at California State University and a Doctor of Medicine at the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara. She later completed a residency in family medicine at Northridge Hospital Medical Center. A licensed physician in the state of California, Dr. Cabrera is certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine.
