An expert in his field, Dr. Almonord holds an Associate of Arts from LaGuardia Community College, a Bachelor of Arts in biology from Hunter College, a Doctor of Medicine from Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, now Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine, and a Master of Science in healthcare management from Troy University. He also graduated from the Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine and earned a certificate in sustaining base leadership and management through Army Management Staff College.
Driven to remain aware of changes in various fields, Dr. Almonord aligns himself with the American College of Healthcare Executives, Federal Physicians Association, National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association and the American Legion. Alongside his work in the field, he has dedicated himself to the American Federation of Government Employees as a legislative and political coordinator, the Muscogee County Democratic Committee, the Outreach Committee of Muscogee County and the Democratic Party of Georgia. While his career has been filled with highlights, Dr. Almonord is most proud to have served the public as a physician and podiatric surgeon. He wants to continue to serve our country in Congress.
