LITTLE ROCK, AR, February 17, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Byron T. Keaton, Esq., has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Inspired by his father, who was a former lawyer and current judge, Mr. Keaton decided to pursue the same line of work. After earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance from the University of Arkansas in 2018, where he was a defensive back for the Arkansas Razorback football team, he received a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Arkansas School of Law in 2021. Thereafter, he was admitted to practice law through the Arkansas Bar. While pursuing his legal education, he gained valuable experience through work as a law clerk for Taylor Law Partners, a criminal law teaching assistant for the University of Arkansas School of Law, a realty and portfolio management legal extern for Walmart, and Director of Programming for the Southwest Black Law Students Association.
Backed by his diverse range of experience and his considerable education, Mr. Keaton has excelled as an associate attorney with Quattlebaum, Grooms & Tull PLLC since 2021, where his practice area focuses on general civil litigation. Mr. Keaton drafts legal documents, attends hearings, conducts client meetings, and file pleadings, among other responsibilities. To remain abreast of changes in the field, he aligns himself with the Pulaski Bar Association, W. Harold Flowers Law Society, and Arkansas Bar Association.
Alongside his work in the field of law, Mr. Keaton has dedicated himself to his local community as he volunteered with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, created meals for the Food Bank of Charlotte, and provided legal answers to underrepresented communities. Mr. Keaton was included on the dean's list at the University of Arkansas School of Law and received the Brandon Burlsworth Award for excellence in athletic and academic achievement through the Brandon Burlsworth Foundation in 2016. Although his career has been filled with highlights, he is especially proud of being the youngest member of his graduating class at the University of Arkansas. Looking ahead, Mr. Keaton intends to become one of the preeminent attorneys in his field.
