Mr. Hossain earned a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from the Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology in Bangladesh in 2007. After working locally and, subsequently, immigrating to the United States, he went on to attain a Master of Technology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2020. He has a certification in construction project management from Pace University, a PIM / Sweep master certification, a passive DAS installation and testing certification, and iBwave Small Cell certification. Additionally, Mr. Hossain holds top most RF & MW certification like ATOLL3.3, Terrain Analysis Package (TAP), ION-E & ION-U.
Mr. Hossain began his career in Bangladesh as a site engineer for MR Telecommunication Engineering in 2006. In 2007, he oversaw projects for the operation and maintenance from 2007 to 2013 of Dhaka-North at Detec Engineering and Technologies Sdn Bhd. He subsequently worked as a project coordinator for operation and maintenance at GTL Intl Bangladesh Pvt. Ltd. in 2013. In 2014, he became the lead project manager and radiofrequency engineer for DCT, Inc., until 2018 when he started working as the manager of operations and radio access networks for AT&T. Starting in 2021, he has excelled as the Director of Operations and Business Development for DCT, Inc.
As part of his dedication to his field, Mr. Hossain is a member of the Society of Broadcasting Engineers (SBE), the New York Wireless Association (NYSWA), the New Jersey Wireless Association (NJWA), the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE), and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). He also gives back to his community by volunteering with the New York City Hunger Program and the Food Bank of New York.
An expert in frequency engineering and construction management, Mr. Hossain has been interested in electronics since he was a child. He was particularly inspired by an astronaut who gave a presentation in Bangladesh, spurring him to look into a career in electrical engineering. For his success, he received recognition from the Federal Communications Commission. Planning to continue working in his field, he aspires to do charity work in New York City that involves cleaning the city and helping the homeless population.
