TEMPLETON, CA, February 18, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Brian Tucker Felt has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Growing up, Mr. Felt admired his father, who was an aircraft mechanic for corporate and private jet planes. His father would often take him and his brother to visit hangars and meet various aviation pilots and professionals, including celebrities and other prestigious figures. Drawing upon this formative experience, he was encouraged to go into the field himself.
In 2012, Mr. Felt became a maintenance technician for a certified repair station in Van Nuys, CA. Throughout his career, he moved up to become an aircraft maintenance technician for a private air carrier operation in 2014, where he was later promoted to chief inspector of maintenance the following year. In 2017, he joined ACI Jet as an aircraft maintenance technician. As the years progressed, he was promoted to the rank of director of quality in 2017 and director of maintenance in 2018, a position he holds today. In this role, Mr. Felt manages a fleet of 15 corporate aircrafts, as well as flight operations for aircraft maintenance and safety. He also has a team of 10 members who offer support in the business.
As a qualified professional, Mr. Felt holds numerous certifications within the aviation industry. He holds an A&P Certificate from the Federal Aviation Administration, as well as certifications in Gulfstream G-450 maintenance initial, Gulfstream G-650 maintenance initial, Gulfstream GIV Update and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. For his efforts, he received the SoCal PAMA A&P Student Scholarship in 2011 and was also presented with the 40 Under 40 Award from Aircraft Maintenance Technician Magazine in 2020.
Throughout his career, Mr. Felt has been most proud of stepping into the role of director of maintenance at an early point in his career. He is one of the youngest persons in the position in the industry. He has attributed his professional success to his father and his godfather, Larry Ziegler, who both went to trade school to become aviation technicians. Mr. Felt also attributes much of his success to his work ethic and desire to improve his methods and systems, aided by his mentor, Edward Wetzel. Looking toward the future, Mr. Felt plans to continue improving his department and growing the company. He would also like to become more involved with his community by taking classes and attending local events. He is currently a volunteer with the Michael Hoefflin Foundation.
