As a research assistant associate with the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center from 2015 to 2019, Ms. Kundnani conducted biospecimen processing for lung and pancreatic cohort study clinical trials and tested protein biomarkers for early cancer detection and risk assessment in large cohorts. Currently, Ms. Kundnani is excelling with the Georgia Institute of Technology as a graduate research assistant, employing computations and statistics to review biological data, observing disease cells and guiding students troubleshoot for the successful completion of their projects.
Ms. Kundnani became involved in her profession because she has always excelled at science, biochemistry and mathematics. She also harbored an innate curiosity to know what happens inside of the human body. She was likewise inspired by her grandfather, who worked as a physician in India.
