Mr. Rossit's journey in the engineering field began with a Bachelor of Science in physics, which he obtained from the University of Windsor in Canada. In 1992, he subsequently earned a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Lawrence Technological University. Following this accomplishment, Mr. Rossit attained a Master of Science in mechanical engineering from Wayne State University in 2003.
In Livonia, Michigan, Mr. Rossit excelled as a project engineer for Roush Technologies. He went on to serve in the same capacity for Modern Engineering & Design Associates in Ontario, Canada. Following this period, he worked as a project design engineer on behalf of the Gates Rubber Company in Ontario, Canada, and as a powertrain systems engineer for MSX International in Dearborn, Michigan. To enable him to work independently in his field for future consideration, Mr. Rossit attained an engineering license and held membership with Professional Engineers Ontario.
Since 2003, Mr. Rossit has served as the global in-process test lead for Stellantis in Trenton, Michigan. Formerly known as Fiat Chrysler Automobiles N.V., Stellantis is a leading global automaker that provides original mobility solutions. As the global in-process test lead, Mr. Rossit creates test plans for engines on the assembly line and writes test schedules, whereupon they are published and shared with other plants in the corporation. As part of his job, he researches cutting edge test methods and equipment and adapts them to develop test machines for Stellantis' manufacturing plants. He also works remotely and with various international manufacturing sites, and has flown to several countries, such as China, Italy and Mexico to commission test equipment.
Mr. Rossit's interests extend beyond cars to the field of internal combustion engine development, which includes designing, improving and testing various types of engines. In his spare time, he also enjoys car restoration. Looking toward the future, Mr. Rossit seeks to continue his work in automotive industry, and focus on the development of automotive powertrains, particularly regarding the integration of advanced electric hybrid models.
