Bearing a great passion for his work, Mr. Levy is most proud to have cultivated a relatable and welcoming persona while working on behalf of his patients.
SANDY SPRINGS, GA, February 24, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Daniel Levy has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Mr. Levy serves as the owner and president of Advantage Private Home Care, an independently owned family business that he established in 2015. Offering individualized home care plans to fit the unique needs of each patient and their family, consultations are free and a team of experienced caregivers, all of whom are certified nursing assistants, are ready to serve those in need throughout the Atlanta area. Among the company's many services, Advantage offers one-on-one personal, dementia and homecare, hospice and transportation services, and more.
As the president, Mr. Levy oversees all operations, including financials, sales and employee management. He also works diligently to ensure that all patients receive a high level of quality care and professionalism. Attributing more than two decades of expertise in the industry, he notably worked for more than a decade with Maxim Healthcare Services, during which time he maintained involvement as a recruiter, accounts manager and senior accounts manager. He subsequently spent another four years with Amedisys, a health care company based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, as the area vice president of business between 2011 and 2015. It was during these years that Mr. Levy had to decide whether he wanted to attend graduate school to pursue physical therapy or remain in his field and advance further. Because he could relate to many of his clients, despite their age differences, he chose to remain focused on the home care industry.
Receiving a college scholarship for tennis, Mr. Levy notably played in the NCAA Division II. However, during the summer after his sophomore year, he was hit by a car while working as a valet attendant, resulting in a near month-long hospital stay due to several broken bones. He also had to undergo multiple surgeries and was unable to walk without assistance for a year. Receiving primary care in the home setting, followed by intense physical therapy, he ultimately transferred to the University of Georgia, where he received a Bachelor of Science in education in 1999. Despite earning a degree in education, his recovery experience, particularly in home care, led him to pursue his career ambitions accordingly.
Bearing a great passion for his work, Mr. Levy is most proud to have cultivated a relatable and welcoming persona while working on behalf of his patients. He is also grateful to have helped various families through vulnerable periods of their lives. Highlighting his professional achievements, Mr. Levy was featured in the Atlanta Jewish Times with an article showcasing his work.
