An expert in his field, Mr. Whitfield has distinguished himself as a Substance Abuse Counselor and an Independent Clinical Supervisor through the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services, a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional through the International Association of Trauma Professionals, and as an Intoxicated Driver's Program-Approved Training through the Wisconsin Department of Transportation. Driven to remain aware of changes in the field, he aligns himself with the National Association for Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors and the Recovery & Addiction Professionals of Wisconsin.
Outside of his work, Mr. Whitfield has contributed to his community as a Youth Group leader with Jacob's Well and as a Board Member for Chippewa Valley Montessori Charter School. While his career has been filled with highlights, he is most proud to have been involved in improving the state of diversity, equity and inclusion in his neighborhood by joining a study group that discusses anti-racism.
