Mr. Giordanella incorporated his love of poker into the pages of "Taj."
LINDENHURST, NY, March 02, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Frank Giordanella has participated in The Star Treatment, a prestigious video series hosted by renowned lawyer and television personality, Star Jones. This premier video series is extremely limited — Marquis Who's Who qualifies 500 listees on an annual basis for this elite service. Backed by a storied career in media that spans more than two decades, Star works closely with Marquis listees to assist with networking goals and commemorative efforts that can be shared with a worldwide audience.
A long-time engineer with Bloomingdale's, Frank Giordanella is no stranger to walking into unknown situations, from his first position with the company as a summer laborer. His father had been working with Bloomingdale's as a painter, and Mr. Giordanella needed a summer job. Thus began a career with Bloomingdale's that would last more than 42 years. He started with some construction work, then he went on cleaning up around the store. He was inspired to pursue a career as an operations engineer when he was offered to attend night school and become an engineer. He worked hard, earned his engineering license, and never looked back. Though he does see retirement on the horizon, he does not see himself leaving his position as an engineer any time soon. In his words, "There's nothing better than figuring out what you love and finding out a way to pay for it." In that spirit, he discovered a passion for writing that led to the publication of his novel, "Taj."
As any writer will attest, a key to compelling writing is to "write what you know." With that in mind, Mr. Giordanella incorporated his love of poker into the pages of "Taj," a story of Rick, a young amateur poker player from New Jersey who meets the love of his life, Andrea, at the Taj Mahal casino in Atlantic City. The two have a baby girl, named Taj, and the story centers around Rick's experiences with fatherhood and raising Taj, who falls in love with poker and becomes an excellent player in her own right. The book is currently available on Amazon, with book trailers available for viewing on YouTube. Mr. Giordanella has left room in the novel for a sequel, and is also open to the possibility of adapting "Taj" for a movie. He is currently in the market for a skilled literary agent that can help him accomplish these goals.
Looking back over his career, Mr. Giordanella attributes his success to his father and driving force, Angelo Giordanella. He witnessed how his father struggled to support six children, and that inspired him to work hard himself. He also gives credit to God and his faith in Him. He believes that everything he does is determined by God's plan.
In the next five years, Mr. Giordanella sees himself in a beautiful condominium in Florida, working on his second book an autobiography entitled "43," titled after the number of years he worked for Bloomingdale's.
