FRANKFORT, IL, March 02, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Tamera Fair has participated in The Star Treatment, a prestigious video series hosted by renowned lawyer and television personality, Star Jones. This premier video series is extremely limited — Marquis Who's Who qualifies 500 listees on an annual basis for this elite service. Backed by a storied career in media that spans more than two decades, Star works closely with Marquis listees to assist with networking goals and commemorative efforts that can be shared with a worldwide audience.
A true Renaissance woman, Tamera Fair lives her life by the motto, "Live with love, and land on love." Over her career, she has held many roles, including some acting roles in the entertainment industry, but she sees herself first and foremost as a child care professional in her position as the chief executive officer of Premier Child Care Centers, which employs 72 staff members and oversees more than 700 children.
When asked about how she got her start professionally, Ms. Fair had a story to tell. "I wanted to be a doctor, working in obstetrics," she explained, but went on to say that "if you want to make God laugh, tell him your plan." As it turned out, and as she would witness for herself through a med school friend's invitation, assisting with a live childbirth was not an experience that Ms. Fair wanted to make into a career, so she shifted lanes into law. She then decided to become a child advocate, graduating with that premise. At this point, once again, fate took a turn. Her friend's mother, who worked in child care, was selling her facility. Coming from a long line of entrepreneurs, Ms. Fair saw an opportunity and seized it, purchasing the center and discarding her legal ambitions in the process.
In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, businesses across the world have needed to adapt to the so-called new normal to keep serving clients. Child care, sadly, is not exempt from this, and so Ms. Fair needed to devise ways to keep caring for children. Luckily, she had the benefit of foresight, since she was on guard against the virus since its initial outbreak in Wuhan. As a result, she was among the first to take steps to safeguard her staff and the children they oversee. The transition has not been without its challenges. As she put it, "if you think it's difficult to educate a preschooler in person, try it in e-learning." Nevertheless, the staff of Premier wears masks and takes every precaution to ensure that safety comes first.
Ms. Fair begins each day with meditation, giving thanks to God and setting her mind right before taking care of administrative tasks. She encourages everyone to check their bank accounts daily, as fraud has been rampant throughout the pandemic, so it pays to be well-informed regarding personal finances.
Though child care is her passion, Ms. Fair has never been one to turn down a sorority sister in need, so when one of her sisters from Alpha Kappa Alpha asked her to audition for a part in a film, she reluctantly stepped in to help. She had her doubts that she would be chosen for the role, but to her surprise, she was, and after that experience she became hooked on the experience, acting and co-producing in a number of film and television features. Ms. Fair stresses the importance of positive thinking in all aspects of life, and it is that positive outlook that makes her truly worthy of the Star Treatment.
