Mr. Warren began his career as a Nuclear Chemistry Technician and was then promoted to Chemist III at Surry Power Station.
In addition to his career as a Chemist III, Mr. Warren served as the General Manager of Chick-fil-A in South Bend, Indiana, from 2007 to 2012. He was promoted from Shift Manager after working for the company for more than seven years in Hampton, Virginia. He attributes his professional success to the leadership skills and innovation values he gained at Chick-fil-A. Additionally, Mr. Warren has refined his expertise by completing Leadership Skills Training at Surry Power Station.
Throughout his career at Dominion Energy, Mr. Warren has shown initiative for improvement through the company's Innovation Spark Tank and has accepted numerous accolades. Notably, he was the 2019 2nd Place Eastern Regional Winner for "Purate Conversion at SPS;" in 2020, Top 10 Eastern Regional Finalist for "Modernization of OLCMS (On-Line Chemistry Monitoring System)," and the 2021 3rd Place Eastern Regional Winner for "13.9 Million Gallons of Water Saved Annually at SPS." He has achieved industry recognition as the invited keynote speaker at the NuclearIQ Conference in 2019 for the INPO Strength on low-level detection of condenser in-leakage and in 2017 for using NuclearIQ to trend Dionex Integral Ion Chromatography Systems secondary data.
Mr. Warren initially pursued a formal education at Christopher Newport University, from which he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Soon after that, he obtained a Master of Science in Environmental Science. Mr. Warren has also completed Dale Carnegie Effective Communications and Human Relations coursework and was the Dale Carnegie Breakthrough Award recipient.
