As a trusted advisor, Ms. Hanson-Linton also excels at social media management and in providing clients with around-the-clock support. Overseeing every aspect of the process, from showing homes and establishing contracts to overseeing new construction, inspections, and final walk-throughs, Ms. Hanson-Linton does everything possible to make each transaction as seamless and stress free as possible. Generating much of her business from word of mouth and repeat customers, she notably closed more than 30 transactions during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Encouraged by her husband to work in real estate, Ms. Hanson-Linton has leveraged skills she learned while serving in the military to excellent effect. Shortly after acquiring her license, she began helping veterans secure homeownership, as well as first time homebuyers and those relocating to the Houston area. She also gained expertise in new construction, through which she has assisted buyers in designing custom homes. As Ms. Hanson-Linton continues to expand her business, she hopes to begin building her own team to extend her reach.
A military veteran who had a great desire to serve her country, Ms. Hanson-Linton worked as a human resource specialist on behalf of the U.S. Army in Ramadi, Iraq. Remaining in the government sector after completing her tour, she gained employment with KBR Inc., an organization that serves the aerospace, defense, industrial, and intelligence sectors. Born and raised in Saint Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands, Ms. Hanson-Linton initially studied at Drexel University after high school. Presently, she maintains her membership with such organizations as the Greater Houston Builders Association (GHBA) and the Houston Black Real Estate Association (HBREA). She is also active as a member of the Houston's Builder Boost, an organization with several locations throughout Texas that focuses on establishing and leveraging relationships with industry leaders.
Ms. Hanson-Linton is actively engaged with various local organizations, including as a member of the American Caribbean Chamber of Commerce and the Knights of Peter Claver Ladies Auxiliary Court #151. She is also a board member of her local homeowners' association and volunteers at her local church helping young ladies prepare for debutante balls and educate the youth about their future college prospects and career. Additionally, Ms. Hanson-Linton enjoys participating in charity work with Handbags for Hope, Toys for Tots and the Houston Food Bank.
Well regarded for her success and expertise, Ms. Hanson-Linton has garnered several accolades, including a Phenomenal Woman Global Award from the American Caribbean Chamber of Commerce and a Million $ Circle Award for New Construction from the GHBA in 2021 and 2022. She was also recognized among the Top 20 HBREA list and as a Power Player by Houston Luxury Magazine in 2020.
Her goal is to one day cruise the Mediterranean for a year, But for now, Ms. Linton acknowledges, amongst her primary ambitions is to center largely on spending quality time with her family and friends, all the while living her best life and helping prospective homebuyers to follow suit.
