"I am the Candidate" won Best Satire at the Political Feedback Film Festival 2021.

In 2017, Mr. Messer released the music video for his original composition, "I am the Candidate." Produced by the Fulton Film Company, the video features Mr. Messer portraying a president who lavishes in his wealth while abdicating his obligations toward American citizens. "I am the Candidate" has garnered more than 9,000 views on YouTube, as well as more than 70 awards including Best Music Video, Best Song, Best Actor, Best Editing, Best Comedy, and Best Concept both domestic and internationally from various international film festivals. "I am the Candidate" also won Best Satire at the Political Feedback Film Festival 2021.
In 2021, "I am the Candidate" was selected for the "Best Music Video" award at the Brussels International Film Festival, the Paradise International Film Festival and the Medusa Film Festival. The aforementioned music video also received recognition at the 2021 Cult Critic Movie Awards, the IndieFEST Film Awards and the Accolade Global Film Competition in La Jolla, California. In the coming years, Mr. Messer intends to acquire the necessary resources to complete his next major musical project.
