Drawing on nearly 15 years of experience in her chosen field, Ms. Minor has been recognized for her work with Kaiser Permanente. Before venturing onto her vocational path, she sought an education at National American University, where she obtained an Associate of Applied Science in business administration, a Bachelor of Science in business administration, a Master of Business Administration, and a Master of Management with emphasis in health care administration. Ms. Minor is also certified as a professional in health care quality and as a Six Sigma Black Belt.
Ms. Minor began her career in 1998 as an office assistant for the Housing Authority of the City of Fresno, where she advanced to become a housing program coordinator in 2001 and a community development coordinator in 2006. Her career with Kaiser Permanente began in 2008 as a staff assistant, after which time she served as a quality analyst in 2010 and a senior quality specialist and interim medical staff supervisor in 2012. She also worked for one year as the manager of medical staff services, whereupon she rose to become a Regional Director of Medicare Operations. Presently, Ms. Minor serves as a director of Medical Staff Services and supports two of the largest hospitals in the Northern California region.
Ms. Minor has garnered several awards, including the Housing Choice Employee of the Month in 2005 and the Planning and Development Employee of the Month in 2007. She also received the Organization and Efficiency Award in 1999, 2000 and 2005. In 2018, she was bestowed with the Raise the Roof Recognition Award by Kaiser Permanente. As a commitment to her field, Ms. Minor has been active with the National Association for Healthcare Quality and the National Association for Medical Staff Services.
