Before Moody's, Mr. Erondu worked at Pathstone in Boston between 2019 and 2021, initially as a Client Service Associate ESG and later as an Analyst ESG amd Impact Investing where he assisted the Impact Committee with investment and impact research, ESG analysis, and thought leadership in relations to quarterly newsletter articles, thematic paper, and quarterly annual report. As a rising expert in sustainable and responsible investing, or SRI, with an ESG background and traditional investing experience, Mr. Erondu believes that finance can be a force for good in addressing challenges around just transition, climate risk and sustainable development.
In addition to his rewarding career in corporate sustainability, Mr. Erondu is a fellow of the New Leaders Council. Likewise, he is a senior advisor (None-Executive) for the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Youth Network, where he previously spent two years as a project officer for operations and fundraising.
Well regarded for his accomplishments, Mr. Erondu is presently an advisory council member for the Harvard Business Review. Serving the Boston Foundation as Equality Fund Advisory Committee Member. A dedicated civic advocate, Mr. Erondu was a former student body president of Green Mountain College between 2014 and 2015. He served as a student elected member of the London School of Economics Student Union between 2016 and 2017.
Highly educated, Mr. Erondu received a Bachelor of Science in sustainable business, magna cum laude, at Green Mountain College in 2016. He subsequently earned a Master of Science in developmental studies at the London School of Economics and Political Science in 2017, thanks to the LSE Masters Award Scholarship he received. Mr. Erondu also completed an executive education in business analytics program at Cambridge Judge Business School in 2020, after which he acquired a LEAD professional certificate at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 2021.
Highlighting his career, Mr. Erondu was named as a Rising Star by Financial Planning Magazine in 2021. He previously received a Certificate of Achievement from Pearson Education in 2016 and was recognized as a Resident Assistant of the Year by Green Mountain College Office of Residence Life in 2016. Likewise, Mr. Erondu attained an Exceptional Service and Dedication Award from the Green Mountain College Office of the President in 2016 and, among a multitude of other accolades, received a National Certificate of Recognition from the General Board of Higher Education and Ministry: the United Methodist Church in 2014.
In accounting for his success, Mr. Erondu credits those who have helped him throughout his journey. After earning a bachelor's degree as the first member of his family to attend college, he realized that anything is possible.
