After graduating, she began her professional career at St. Francis Medical Center's cardiac intensive care unit as a registered nurse. Mrs. Barham subsequently relocated to the Honolulu Medical Center, where she remained active for five years. Currently, she is the chief quality officer for Mainline Health Systems.
Mrs. Barham is a certified professional in healthcare quality and holds a certification from the National Association for Healthcare Quality. In addition to her primary vocation, she is clinical consultant for the Health Resources and Services Administration. Mrs. Barham also has served as an examiner for the Governor's Quality Award.
