ELK GROVE VILLAGE, IL, March 11, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Rev. Joseph Mutashoberwa Bocko, PhD, has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Dr. Bocko is the respected director of the African National Ministries Program at the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Since 2011, he has excelled in this role, working to coordinate hundreds of African national communities in the United States involving 6 caucuses of: West Africans, Southern Africans, Eastern Africans, The Horn of Africans: Ethiopians and Eritreans and finally South Sudanese.

A respected voice in his field, Dr. Bocko is the author of "Effective Lay Leadership Training," and is in the process of publishing a second book. He has obtained a bachelor's degree in theological studies from Tumaini University Makumira and a Master of Sacred Theology from the Wartburg Theological Seminary. In 1997, he earned a doctorate in educational studies from Trinity International University. Dr. Bocko attributes his success to his persistence and the tireless support of his wife, Jessica.
