KALISPELL, MT, March 15, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Rev. Tracia M. Deal, MDiv, BCC, has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Rev. Deal serves as a spiritual care chaplain and senior staff member at Logan Health Medical Center in Kalispell, Montana. In this capacity, she is responsible for tending to the staff of the hospital, and the patients' and their families spiritual care in the hospital by providing various support methods and resources. While attending Brite Divinity School, she served a year as a ministerial intern and director of Kids Connection at First Presbyterian Church from 2004 to 2005. Using her entrepreneurial skills, she co-planted Journey Christian Church in 2006. She later maintained involvement as an associate pastor at Spirit of Joy Christian Church in 2009 and as a children/youth minister at New Hope Christian Church in 2011. Additionally, among other roles, Rev. Deal supported her community as a chaplain for Saint Luke's Health System in the Magic Valley between 2016 and 2020.
Discovering her passion and desire to serve others and minister people as a teenager, Rev. Deal aspires to continue growing in her role. A considerable advocate for spiritual care, she aspires to help expand the spiritual care department at her current hospital and educate many patients and staff on the importance of spiritual health. Likewise, Rev. Deal hopes to begin integrating similar programs at the local children's hospital.
As part of her professional endeavors, Rev. Deal is a member and the current board secretary of the Montana Spiritual Care Association. She has been ordained as a minister since 2006, endorsed as a chaplain by the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) since 2015 and a board-certified chaplain through the Association of Certified Christian Chaplains since 2021. Recognizing her contributions, Rev. Deal was featured in a 2021 edition of the Daily Inter Lake, a community newspaper of the Hegadone Newspaper Network.

Deal received an Associate of Arts at Northwest Christian University, now Bushnell University in 2000, followed by a Bachelor of Business Administration, with an emphasis in Human Resource Management at Boise State University, in 2002 and a Master of Divinity at Brite Divinity School at Texas Christian University in 2005.
