From a young age, Ms. Fennelly aspired to become an educator. In 1992, she earned a bachelor's degree in early childhood and elementary education with a minor in music from Lesley University. Subsequently, she received a master's degree in consulting teachers of reading through the same institution in 1999. Over the years, Ms. Fennelly has gained valuable expertise in the field as a special education teacher for Stoneham Middle School, where she worked between 2002 and 2016.
Drawing on her outstanding breadth of knowledge, Ms. Fennelly excels today as a reading teacher for Stoneham Public Schools, an adjunct faculty member for American International College and an adjunct professor for Pine Manor College and UMass Lowell. In order to remain aware of changes in the field, she is affiliated with The Reading League, the International Literacy Association and the Massachusetts Reading Association, where she is a member of the executive board. Additionally, Ms. Fennelly is pursuing a PhD in language and literacy at St. John's University.
