Mr. Bareng has been a sales associate with other real estate companies during his career and has additional expertise in commercial property sales. He spent 10 years as a customer service representative for Hawaii Telecom Services Company, Inc. in Honolulu between 2005 and 2015, and 19 years in progressive roles for Philippine Airlines in Honolulu, from 1970 to 1989. During his successful career with the airlines, Mr. Bareng became a prominent member of the Pacific Asia Travel Association, a professional organization that serves to promote the travel and tourism in the Asia Pacific region. Developing his customer relations skills was paramount to Mr. Bareng's success in real estate, and he looks forward to remaining in the field for another 10 years. Mr. Bareng graduated from W. R. Farrington High School in Honolulu after serving as a batallion commander in the Reserve Officers' Training Corps and receiving an American Legion Award. He completed an Associate of Applied Science at Los Angeles City College and a Bachelor of Business Administration at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Mr. Bareng entered the United States Army in 1967, serving to the rank of staff sergeant (E-6) until his discharge in 1972. Recognizing his military involvement, Mr. Bareng received a Commendation Award from the 74th U.S. Army Missile Detachment in Germany for his contributions as a platoon leader and was featured in the Honolulu Star-Bulletin where he was highlighted for his journey from college to life as a draftee.
Mr. Bareng is a graduate of the Realtor Institute and the Real Estate Institute, a certified residential specialist, chartered realty investor, and certified seniors' real estate specialist. He is active in the Filipino Chamber of Commerce and a past president of the Oahu Filipino Jaycees. He often gives back to various causes, including the American Red Cross, Catholic Charities USA, and the Boy Scouts of America.
