Prior to forming ItCon Inc., Mrs. Freiman was a successful mortgage broker, through which she often assisted clients with bad credit or high debt ratios acquire loans. She also owned a small computer repair company with her husband, which led to the discovery of the immeasurable number of cyber-attacks of which her clients had been victims. Passionate about helping people, Mrs. Freiman ultimately transitioned into the cybersecurity industry, where she remains driven to fight cybercrime.
A recognized expert in her field, Mrs. Freiman founded ITCON2019, a leading cybersecurity conference for business owners. During her career, she also led numerous cybersecurity training seminars for large organizations, lectured at Touro College in New York in her area of expertise, and presented before the New York Alliance for Inclusion and Innovation at Marist College in Albany.
In 2019, Mrs. Freiman became the bestselling author of "Double Your Revenue with the Right Technology: The Ultimate Small Business Owner's Guide for Finding a Professional, Competent, Honest, Considerate, On-Time, Fairly-Priced and Dependent IT Consultant." The book was independently published. Mrs. Freiman also starred in the 2019 documentary film, "Cyber Crime." Directed by Jeff Roldan, it shares insight from various cybersecurity experts, including Mrs. Freiman's, about the advent of cybercrime since the invention of the computer.
Ms. Freiman is a 2001 graduate of Bais Rochel High School. She has been recognized with numerous accolades, including a Top Manage Service Award in 2021 and a Lemon Shark Award for Cybersecurity in 2020. She was also named to the Top Women in Cybersecurity as a Global InfoSec Award Winner by Cyber Defense Magazine in 2021.
