Additionally, he is a senior professional trainer for CSC, as well as the owner of Yearby's Family Transportation LLC, a freight shipping trucking company.
Mr. Yearby's military service began in 1967, when he became a chief warrant officer pilot in the U.S. Army. Further contributing to his aeronautic expertise, and while continuing his military service, he received a Bachelor of Science in aviation science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Looking toward his future in business, Mr. Yearby earned a Master of Arts in management from the University of Phoenix.
The decades of service Mr. Yearby has contributed to his country have distinguished him with several meritorious medals, including the Legion of Merit from the U.S. Army. In recognition of his extraordinary bravery during the Gulf War, in which he crossed into enemy lines to retrieve an aircraft, he was granted the Bronze Star. During this same conflict, Mr. Yearby experienced a critical aircraft failure at 10 thousand feet in the air, but managed to save himself and his aircraft.
