The technology developed in this program is now essential to HP's leadership in the ink jet printing market.
Well qualified in his field, Mr. Patterson studied electrical engineering at the University of Washington, from which he earned a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science. Additionally, he completed the University of Michigan Executive Program. Having subsequently earned a respected voice in the industry, Mr. Patterson is the author of several publications, including "Accelerating Innovation: Improving the Process of Product Development," "Leading Product Innovation: Accelerating Growth in a Product-Based Business" and "Build an Industry Hot Rod: The Nuts and Bolts of Leaving Competitors in the Dust." Most recently he has published a series of online videos entitled "Creating Breakthrough Innovations."
