OVIEDO, FL, March 23, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Peter B. Robinson has been included in Marquis Who's Who. Colonel Robinson served in the United States Army from 1964 to 1995, retiring as a colonel. While in the Army he served in a variety of command and staff positions in Military Intelligence, Psychological Operations, and senior command activities in joint and U.S. Army operations, including assignments with the 101st Airborne Division and U.S. Forces Command. His specialties included procurement, operations, information systems, and intelligence.
After joining the Seminole County, Florida Sheriff's Office in 1996 as the Special Projects Coordinator and Webmaster in the Office of the Sheriff, his responsibilities included coordinating the Reserve Deputy Sheriff, Chaplain Corps, Citizens on Patrol, and Community Law Enforcement Academy programs, provided high end forensic and other imaging services; and performed special studies as directed by the Sheriff and Chief Deputy. In June 2000, he was reassigned to support the Intelligence Center and in 2007 he was reassigned to the Community Services Division where he continued to support both the Community Services Division and Intelligence Center. He retired in 2008, and in early 2013 he was appointed Executive Director of the National Association of Bunco Investigators.
Colonel Robinson holds a B.S. degree (cum laude) in data processing with a minor in accounting and is a graduate of the U.S. Army War College. He is a past Vice-Chairman of Seminole HOPE (assists addicted and troubled youths), President of the Stillwater of Flying Cloud Homeowner's Association, and past President of the Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association. In 2007 he was selected as Chairman of the Seminole County (FL) Veteran's Coalition for a candidate in the 2008 Presidential race.
Colonel Robinson credits his success to his strong work ethic and his determination to achieve the best results on each project to the foundations instilled in him by the Valley Forge Military Academy which he attended from 1954 to 1959. He is responsible for the operational and administrative works for the National Association of Bunco Investigators Inc., which has members in four countries on two continents, at which they collect and disseminate information from the members relating to elder fraud and scams targeting the elderly. His goal is to serve as an example of what hard work and never giving up can accomplish.
