NEW TAZEWELL, TN, March 24, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Robin Marie Duncan has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. Mrs. Duncan serves as the office manager for Claiborne Economic Partnership (CEP) in Tazewell, Tennessee, a position she acquired in 2019. Formerly known as the Claiborne County Chamber of Commerce, the CEP serves as a voice to more than 150 local businesses throughout the county, represented by 27 board members and several key staff members. In addition to overseeing the various financial affairs of the organization, including billing and invoicing and other routine matters that contribute to its economic stability, Mrs. Duncan works closely with the public in person and over the phone. She also collaborates with the chief executive officer in regards to event planning and other social events.
Aside from her full-time responsibilities as manager, Mrs. Duncan is active as a member of the Claiborne County Agricultural Committee. She is also a member of the Claiborne County Equalization Board and the Leadership Claiborne Board. Likewise involved with local organizations that serve the community, Mrs. Duncan currently volunteers and donates to the Claiborne County Animal Shelter. She is also active with Change Claiborne through the CEP, which helps residents throughout the county to lead healthier, more active lives by providing various free services with the assistance of grants and other funds.
Leveraging her expertise, Mrs. Duncan is still active as a cattle farm manager and operator of her family farm. She also worked as a bookkeeper. She attributes much of her success to her hard work and the leadership skills she learned from her father. Bearing a great devotion to her family, her community and her Christian faith, Mrs. Duncan looks forward to continued success with the CEP, helping the organization grow and thrive in the coming years.
